Taewon Ahn

Taewon Ahn explores the overlap between digital culture and physical reality through painting and sculpture. Working intuitively across two- and three-dimensional formats, Ahn embraces chance, improvisation, and material experimentation.

Recurring figures — especially his cat Hiro — become vehicles for examining the gap between image, memory, and perception, where the familiar often appears strange, humorous, and slightly uncanny.
