Kim Myungchan

Myungchan Kim examines how digital technologies reshape our relationship with the body, memory, and physical presence. Working primarily through painting, he contrasts tactile, gestural surfaces with ghostly human silhouettes and industrial structures, creating spaces where the organic and the artificial coexist in uneasy balance.

Rather than rejecting technology, Kim explores the “offline body” as a fragile anchor-a reminder of touch, materiality, and embodied experience in an increasingly virtual world.
