The White Rabbit Gallery Digital Call-Out invites emerging artists and designers to respond to the current gallery exhibition theme — Generation Xi — with an animation / artwork for the WRG website landing page. The winning artwork is showcased on the landing page 24/7 for 5 months, promoted across WRG social channels, and permanently archived in the WRG Digital Archive.
For this round, applicants are invited to work in the aesthetic of New Ugly: a design movement that discards traditional composition rules and embraces chaos, imperfection and visual excess. Full technical specs are provided in the info pack.
Winner receives
- A$2,000 artist fee (split evenly for collaborative groups)
- 5 months of landing-page promotion
- Promotion across WRG social media
- Professional support from Spring in Alaska during a development period
- Permanent placement in the WRG Digital Archive
