Le Garage Moderne opens the second edition of its OASIs international residency cycle. Five grants are available to international artists for a two-week stay in Bordeaux between October and December 2026.
Le Garage Moderne is a non-profit car garage and bicycle workshop, a solidarity canteen, and a cultural venue hosting 11 permanent artists in the Bacalan district. The 19th-century building has just reopened after a two-and-a-half-year renovation.
Support
- Artist fee of €1,300 (gross, tax status dependent)
- Production budget up to €600 (materials, technical services, tools)
- Travel grant (lump sum, distance-based, with top-ups for green travel)
- €45 per diem
- Accommodation in a self-catering hotel
Residency periods
- Residency 1: 9 – 22 November
- Residency 2: 16 – 29 November
- Residency 3: 23 November — 6 December
- Residency 4: 30 November — 13 December
- Residency 5: 7 – 20 December
