The G. & A. Mamidakis Foundation (established 2019) invites proposals for its 2027 Art Prize — a site-specific commission for a large-scale permanent outdoor work that joins the Foundation's collection on Crete. Proposals are judged on originality, site-specificity and feasibility.
Who can apply
- Greek and international visual artists
- Working in sculpture, installation, sound installation, mixed media, land, environmental or ecological art
- Open to practices combining art and nature in open-air settings
What you get
- €15,000 cash award
- Full production and installation costs covered by the Foundation
- Creation period: February — May 2027
- Public unveiling: June 2027, then permanent display in the Foundation collection
