The City of Palo Alto commissions up to five temporary outdoor installations using light, sound, motion and technology to activate downtown spaces during the Code:ART festival (13–16 October 2027, 6–10 pm nightly). Artists may propose existing work or submit qualifications with a new concept.

What you get
- Up to $9,000 commission per installation
- Up to five installations selected
