Ceramics Now is inaugurating its flagship Annual publication: an editorial project spotlighting new artists, ideas and perspectives shaping contemporary ceramics. At least 20 artists will be selected through this international open call and featured in the print + digital edition released in December 2026.
There is no fixed theme. Applications welcome from all stages of career and from every area of ceramic practice. Ceramics Now is read by over 70,000 people each month.
Selected artists receive
- A dedicated artist profile in Ceramics Now Annual 2026 (print + digital)
- Publication on the Ceramics Now web platform, newsletter and social media, with continued promotion through 2027
- Free annual subscription to Ceramics Now Magazine
- Chance to be featured on the Annual's cover
- Permanent archival visibility on the website
Application
- Non-refundable submission fee: $15 (supports the selection process and Annual production)
- Works must have been made between 2023 – 2026 and be at least 60% ceramic material
